Tincan, Restaurant, Soho, London
A visual treat for lovers of packaging, Tincan opened on Monday.
Situated just off Golden Square, architectural practice AL_A conceived and designed this seafood restaurant, where the fish tins themselves also star.
There are 28 different types of tinned fish on the menu, along with bread, salad and a selection of Portuguese wines.
If you’re around for the Design Festival, up for a fish supper and keen to see The King on a pilchard tin, it looks worth a visit.
Tincan, 7 Upper James Street, London W1F 9DH

“Pop Art is for Everyone”
I’ve picked up my colourful Campbell’s Tomato Soup cans with Andy Warhol inspired artwork and at 95p each, they are a cheap and cheerful display in the kitchen.
